Today was a milestone.
My very first book signing at Indigo — a small table by the door, just inside near the entrance to Mount Sinai Hospital. A steady flow of people on their way to coffee or to see loved ones in the hospital. So many hopeful and positive looking faces as they walked by.
It wasn’t about sales (though a few books are now in new hands). It was about conversations — short, real, curious. Canadians talking about Canada’s story, our history, and where we might be headed.
That’s why I wrote The True North Talks. Not for the money, but for the message. A story that, in my opinion, needs to be read.
